Whenever i try to scan it hangs up and doesn't do what it's supposed to i checked the error logs and i get 3 errors 1. Launching of the scanner driver has failed 2. Life is full of surprises quotes. Delivery type unknown 3. Uinable to find file everything was setup properly previously and nothing has changed and no one has gone into the configuration of it to make any changes. It was setup as a network device and it was set to scan to a network folder.

I've tried turning it off and on, and restarting some services on the server that are associated with this specific device. Any help would be appreciated. What software were you using for scanning?

On your PC I assume? Did you scan from the machine by pressing the 'scanner button', or from your PC via an editing software or similar? What happens when you touch the 'scanner' button on the machine.does the scanner window appear, or not? What software were you using for scanning? Network twain? Scanrouter V2? Where do these messages appear?
