Consider donating to the Electronic Frontier Foundation! They give you stickers! So something happened to my sister's external HDD where windows says it needs to be formatted. It had 400 GB of important which i need to recover. So I didn't format the drive.

What I did instead was copy the RAW data using HDD Raw Copy Tool which created a.imgc file. Now, I'm planning to format the drive. But my problem is I don't exactly know how to extract the.imgc file back to the external HDD. Please help me. I'm using Windows 7 on an ASUS X445L laptop, by the way. [UPDATE]: My problem still persists. I formatted the drive (quick format) to NTFS.
